DCI – Zomato Food Program

DCI is open to partner with like-minded organizations and achieve common goals and contribute to national and international determinants. Feeding India by Zomato is a not-for-profit organization, designing interventions to reduce hunger among undeserved communities in India.

In April, DCI in partnership with Feeding India by Zomato undertook a Daily Feeding Program. After a thorough needs assessment dry ration kits were distributed among 1000 vulnerable street vendors, female domestic workers and daily wage laborers at several locations in Guwahati city.

The program was led by Abdul Hasib with support from experienced volunteers Kalpana Begum, Prayashi Goswami, Tanushriya Sonowal, Rizuwan Ahmed, Dwijendra Saharia, Sattar Choudhury, Simanta Sarma and Rafiquel Islam.
