Integrated Livelihood Project: Baseline Survey Report
DCI prepared Baseline Survey Reports for a NEIDA project in Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh that seeks to build on existing capacities and livelihood models piloted in Phase I and provide an enabling institutional framework to scale-up promising initiatives that can increase farming household income. The survey was conducted in 200 villages in 2 districts in Arunachal Pradesh; 120 villages in 4 districts in Mizoram and 10 villages in 5 districts in Nagaland.
The project titled “Integrated Livelihood Project, Phase II: Climate Smart Agriculture and Livestock in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland” has received support from the Tata Trusts. By enhancing the profitability and sustainability of Farmers Producers Organisations, the main goal of the project is to permanently raise the income of 29,200 households in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Nagaland.
